01 Click to Ascend!Independant game
2026Click to Ascend! is a first-person narrative exploration game developed in Unreal Engine 5. Set within a surreal digital purgatory, players navigate dreamlike environments while confronting themes of obedience, memory, free will, and digital spirituality through interactive encounters.
All UI and UX elements were designed and implemented by me, with a focus on creating a clean and cohesive player experience. The interface draws heavily on the PP Neuebit typeface and the recurring ouroboros motif, both of which reinforce the game's digital, cyclical, and symbolic visual identity.
All architectural assets were modelled, optimized, UV unwrapped, and textured by me. The game progresses through a series of interconnected dreamlike environments that transition seamlessly as the player explores, drawing inspiration from LSD: Dream Emulator.
Guardian angels are a recurring theme throughout the game, with each environment presenting its own interpretation of the concept. The church features a biblically accurate angel, while the butcher-inspired environment transforms the guardian into a grotesque creature covered in eyes and writhing tentacles. In the technology-themed church, the angel takes the form of a vast supercomputer powered by two beating hearts, reflecting the game's exploration of spirituality, technology, and the many forms faith can take.
02 The FoolIndependant Game
2024The Fool is a first-person psychological horror game developed in Unreal Engine 5. Set within a surreal and unsettling environment, the project explores atmosphere, environmental storytelling, and player tension through exploration, level design, and interactive gameplay built using the Horror Engine framework.
Players take on the role of a married woman confined to a mental asylum by her husband, searching for a way to escape. To unlock the path to the outside world, players must uncover clues hidden throughout the environment, with each room revealing a tarot card that gradually pieces together the code needed to break free.
